October 1st to October 30th, 2011, national headliner comedian and Brewster Navy veteran PJ Walsh is performing 30 one-hour, stand-up comedy shows throughout the Hudson Valley at local VFW Posts, American Legion Halls and in Veterans Administration Health Centers.

PJ Walsh has entertained troops in Japan, Korea, the Balkans and throughout Iraq and Afghanistan. Featured on CNN and “Comics on Duty“, PJ spent years on the road with the stars of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour .

Pawling NY’s Towne Crier turns their spotlights on PJ Walsh’s standup comedy on Sunday Oct. 9th. Peekskill NY’s Paramount Center for the Arts pulls out all the stops for PJ’s award-winning one-man theatre show – “OVER THERE: Comedy Is His Best Weapon”, on Saturday Oct. 29th. H. G. Fairfield Arts Center for the Environment Inc. believes service is reciprocal.

G. Fairfield’s mission is to help meet the needs of our community and environment through promotion of expressive and creative arts and culture.

Courage Continues At Home is an initiative that focuses on local veterans and their families, and
• raising funds for food, clothing, shelter, and medical attention for local veterans and their families, &
• raising awareness of local veterans service officers, VFWs’, & American Legions’ programs.
